Biography

Christopher Guercio brings a unique blend of legal acumen and real-world experience to his role as a workers’ compensation attorney. A graduate cum laude of Touro Law School (Class of 2024), Mr. Guercio distinguished himself as a four-time CALI Award recipient, including honors in Trial Litigation. While pursuing his law degree full-time, he also maintained a dedicated career in law enforcement-demonstrating his unwavering commitment to public service.

During law school, Mr. Guercio focused on advocacy for underserved communities, participating in the school’s Bankruptcy Clinic to assist clients who could not afford legal representation. He passed the Uniform Bar Examination in July 2024 and was admitted to practice law in New York State in February 2025.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Mr. Guercio served over 30 years with the Suffolk County Sheriff’s Office, rising to the rank of Captain and serving as Commanding Officer in multiple commands. His leadership during critical events-including the response to 9/11-and his deep familiarity with the Suffolk County judicial system provide him with a practical and strategic edge in legal advocacy.

Mr. Guercio approaches every case with passion and precision, drawing on decades of public service to advocate fiercely for injured workers. His mission is simple: to ensure that those who have sacrificed for their jobs receive the compensation and justice they deserve.
